Adding ROMs without re-scanning

Post by KillerCroc » Tue Feb 06, 2018 5:21 pm

I've got my list *exactly* the way I want it. Edited out the "bad" games, got the settings right, etc.

If I want to add a ROM or two at this point, what's the easiest way w/o having to run the ROM scan and risk losing my changes?

Can I simply add the file to a ROM folder and then add the name to /home/pi/.attract/romlists/allGames.txt?

That would work, just add it where you want it to appear in the list and copy the format of the other entries and it should work fine.

I can confirm that it does work... I've added a half-dozen games or so in this fashion. BTW... the allGames.tag file appears to be a list of the games that have been marked as "favorites"...
