yeh i got three cabs in a row

2 work fine with the rassberryjamma

and one has no controll’s

i think it is a bad ground issue

i think my cab that isn’t working on on the rassberryjamma ( but will work in
mvs etc is bad ground and i think
it is the cabs jamma female contacts may be used to a fatter pcb..

pins inside cabs female connecter need a little prying to get good connectivity with the jamma edge on the rassberryjamma ground contacts

sega jamma has on the jamma
loom female cab side ground pins for both sides top side & parts side

in my egrets only has top side ground pins

i believe this is the issue as both my egrets are not playing on the rassberryjamma


on jamma female cab side F & B

underside ground pins are not occupied by ground wires. i think this is the issue
causing the rassberryjamma to loose
connectivity with the arcade stick and buttons. ?

Fixed

i found this issue is a low voltage issue

cab side

get yourself a voltage meter jamma adaptor so you can monitor your
5 & 12volts

i found 5.15 & 12.3 is a happy level
once voltage is at this level all controll’s worked perfectly
