Can't get some MAME-094 games to run

I tried playing Elevator Action Returns and Puzzle Bobble 2,3&4 and everytime I try to launch them, it takes me back to the game selection screen. Anybody know why? This is on the newer 3.8 firmware.

All those games should run. I can't remember offhand if Taito F3 needs a bios file but I would guess either you're missing a bios file or the roms you have are for a different version of MAME.

yep these games do run !
the way i did it is by copying these specific game-roms from the mame 0.78 set into the 0.94 folder and that works

I used roms from the 106 set, also worked. (I don't have a 0.94 set)
