Thanks for the quick reply. Right after I posted my issue, I went back to the cab, reconfigured the buttons, and rebooted the system instead of just turning it off.

I'm using a kick harness. I open up Street fighter alpha 3 using mame172. I have to co figure the kick buttons because the default settings don't work. Dee2er thanks again. I just realized that I can't change any of the retro arch menus for fba, ps1 etc. How would I change the settings from linuxraw to udev on those? I tried to change the fba_libretro.cfg file but it didn't allow me to change the inputs in retroarch. Is it not fba? I also tried fba...

Thanks! I changed the nestopia libretto cfg file and it allowed me to use my keyboard to change the input to gpio and map the buttons on my cab.

Finally got to play Mega Man on my Dynamo!!!

Man, I was really hoping this would do the trick but no. Still can't change anything in retro arch. Keyboard doesn't register even after changing the retroarch nestopia config file. Any other suggestions? Someone mentioned in another forum that I might have 2 config files or and old config file but ...

Dee2er, so I tried to adjust the settings in retro arch using a wired game pad (retrolink snes controller) then I tried a wired keyboard and neither one of those work! I don't know of the retroarch screen freezes or if the inputs are just not being recognized. Again, the joysticks and cabinet button...

Thanks! The problem was I was using a mini wireless keyboard so Everytime I tried to get into the menu f1 was registering as 1 because I had to hold down another key simultaneously to get it to register as f1. Now the problem is that when I get into the retroarch menu I can't move up or down or choo...

Thanks! I really hope you figure it out. I've been trying to play Mega Man in my cabinet for a loooong time now! Almos a year to be exact. P.s. love the adapter and software. I've convinced at least two people to buy one.
