Which Mode??

Hi guys,
Looking for correct group & mode settings for my arpicade.
I have tested on a standard pc monitor with group 2 mode 4 (ie 640x480 on pc monitor) all boots fine
when connected in my cab which is a naomi cab converted to jamma, i cant get it display anything.
I have tried on group 1 mode 6. and also group 2 mode 4.

Neither of which work, so need pointing in right direction with correct mode.
Group 1 settings display nothing
Group 2 settings high pitch squeal and no display.

Monitor is a Sanwa 29E31S which is 31khz but max 640x480 from my information?
hence Group2 Mode4 setting above.

I know im getting old but this is driving my crazy.

I would have thought Group 1 mode 1 was what you wanted, that's the standard 480p setting. Unfortunately I don't have an original Naomi monitor to test on.
