Installing to SD card - Help
I don't know why I am feeling lost at the beginning step here. I am running Windows 10, and I downloaded Etcher, the 170211 Arpicade file, which is a tar.gz file, but Etcher does not seem to support tar.gz for moving to SD cards? I tried to extract it, and when I did, Etcher does not see the file. What am I doing incorrectly? Please help, thank you very much.

You should be able to extract the .tar.gz file using 7zip or similar. Once extracted you should have a regular .img file, I've never used Etcher but it should be able to see it. What extension did the file have when extracted?

My apologies - in looking over the installation documentation, I just realized there wasn't any instruction on how to deal with the tar.gz file. In line with Dee2er's suggestions, I've just updated the docs to address this.
Please take a look and see if it is more clear now. Here is the link to the docs: https://arpicade.com/installation-and-c ... tion-v3-7/
Your feedback would be very helpful and appreciated. Please let me know.
Cheers!

Yes, thank you for that. I totally forgot to extract the .tar.gz. You have to do it twice with 7-zip. Once to get it unarchived, then a second time to extract the .img file. It is currently installing to the SD card!
