FBA exit to menu

Hi everyone,

I bought the arpicade a couple of weeks ago and I worked on it for a long time to get the best games to work on the best emulator and all that. I really like the device , I was using the pandarox box's of this world but I really didn't like the fact that it was slow and ugly , I wanted something jamma because I have 2 other pcb boards on this machine and I wanted to be able to switch from one to the other. anyway long story short I have 2 problems ( the second one is more educational) I really like a lot the Fba games but I cant exit to the menu when the game is launch. On any other Mame emulator on the arpicade i can just press the p1+p2 and back to the menu, but with fba it doesn't work. I was wondering if you have to hold the p1+p2 for a long time , that will explain the reason it doesn't work because the p1+p2 (for 3 seconds) is the trigger for the pcb switch on this machine. I tried manually to put any other combination when I go to the options in fba when there's a game playing (tab key) , i forgot the name of the field but its exit command or something like that. Anyway that option brings me back to the menu but the game is still playing on the background. If i try with a keyboard the Esc key works perfectly to bring me back to the menu in fba. Do you guys have any suggestion?

Second question , is just to know what are the pins for the k1 , k2 and k3 in the harness for the arpicade ?
I did bought the extra harness to plug on the board but I'm just wondering what are they by default .

The default setting for exit to menu should be long hold (about 3 seconds) P1 start for all emulators.

The hotkeys including exit to menu can be adjusted in /boot/hotkeys.ini (it only currently supports using player 1 buttons and joystick).

hold p1 start definitely doesn't work for me .
I will try the hotkey modification, right now Esc key is the one in the file. if I want to change that for p1+p2 for 2 seconds what is the syntax I have to put please ?

Unfortunately the hotkeys don't support player 2 inputs at the moment.

What version of ARpiCADE are you using? Holding P1 start has been the exit command for a while, not sure why it doesn't work for you if you're up to date...

yep , I was using 3.7 , upgraded to 3.9 .
