I know you've already figured it out but if you need to check a romlist entry in the future you can check /boot/[firmware]/launchers/aml/[emulator].aml The aml files are templates for Attract-Mode lists containing all (in theory) the games supported by that emulator - they're the entries used by the ARpiCADE romscanning script. Ozfalcon came up with the aml format to speed up the romscanning, it saves generating all the info for the romlists on the fly (as was done in very early ARpiCADE versions and took substantially longer on big game lists).FrizzleFried wrote: ↑Tue Apr 01, 2025 9:30 pmDo I still use NAOMI as the "emulator" in the romlists?
Arcade Italia generated a romlist for me, but it's not working... is the BIOS entry messing things up or something else? Can you post a line from your Atomiswave romlist?

Ignore this post. I musta made a typo. Atomiswave working.Hashman wrote: ↑Wed Apr 02, 2025 1:13 amSorry for the noob question but how to i get to the terminal? I went into the service menu and pused esc and got to a very hard to read terminal then typed the line and it said sudo ln not found?
Now just to work out how to change settings in each game like freeplay and demo sound off etc.
Re: ARpiCADE_5 - for Pi4 or Pi5
This next update is getting better and better. Singe games now working...
Re: ARpiCADE_5 - for Pi4 or Pi5
can do n64 if people want it. IMO it isn't a particularly well suited console for JAMMA use as many of the games need an analog stick and will play poorly on a digital stick... But if there's demand I can add it. Won't be next release though as I've been concentrating on arcade stuff. I will get to improving the console stuff at some point, I'm sure with the Pi5s power a lot of improvements can probably be made, bettter more accurate emulators etc.
Re: ARpiCADE_5 - for Pi4 or Pi5
think I may have also improved the picture position... testing now...
EDIT: now testing the update on a fresh ARpiCADE_5 SD card, hopefully I can release it tonight (my time, prob early morning for a lot of you). Also trying a Samsung EVO SD card for the first time... so far I think I'll still be recommending SanDisk Ultra or High Endurance... not seeing any speed improvement imaging to it.
EDIT: update live. See first post of the thread. Will release as a fresh image as well in the next couple of days. Feedback and questions wanted.
Does this update fix the image size for you @hashman & @cool_factor?

Awesome stuff mate. I’ll back up my sd card tomorrow and then apply the patch and let ya know how the horizontal sizing is.

May I ask what "Singe" improves on? Are we talking about just the American Laser games? All the usual games seem to work fine... (non-gun games that is)...

it's still the same hypseus as before but you can play Ninja Hayete, TimeGal and Time Traveler. The ALG games work too but arn't much fun without a lightgun.
