Player 3 and 4 coin mechs would get wired into the same headers as their controls are. You will need to adjust the headers if you're using the M (Midway) header to using the K (Konami) header and swap the wires around to suit as I'm not sure Midway games originally supported four coin mechs.
Chart of different four player wiring: https://drive.google.com/open?id=12m45p ... zgMycZHOGo (not my chart, I don't remember it's origins...)
EDIT:
the distribution board was probably a silly suggestion, I don't think they're common outside Australia. It would require more rewiring than adding an extra 2 mechs.
Part of the problem is there was no standard way to do 4 player games (unless you count the 'Konami standard'), so unlike 2 player JAMMA games the manufacturers tended to just make up their own solutions.
Four player JAMMA, credit issue and menu

Re: Four player JAMMA, credit issue and menu
Is there just a setting that can make the coin slots register as common. I feel like you should just be able to put in a quarter and then anybody can take the credit.
Also do you have a wiring diagram that shows where and how I connect the third and fourth coin mechanism if I go that route

Re: Four player JAMMA, credit issue and menu
Pin 1 on each of the 'K' headers is coin.
Some (maybe most, I don't think all) 4 player games will be able to share 1 mech among the players but it will come down to individual games. For the games that do have this option it will be in either the games dipswitch settings (changeable through MAMEs menus) or the original games test/settings menus.
EDIT:
rather than rewire all the inputs you have you could just add coin mechs to the K headers leaving the rest where it is (assuming you are using the M headers).

Re: Four player JAMMA, credit issue and menu
Yes the players three and four are set up for the midway (M) control. If I can use the K coin one slot that would be a good fix
Re: Four player JAMMA, credit issue and menu
I’m so confused. So no distribution board. Go with four coin mechanisms and wire players 3 and 4 to the Konami pins?
Re: Four player JAMMA, credit issue and menu
Yeah, that should work. If you want to save some rewiring leave the player inputs alone and just use the Komami headers for the player 3 and 4 coin mechs.
