hey guys please help ive decide to put my arpicade in a track and field so id like to have just 3 games not the 5000 thats on my original sdcard, ive tried for days to install the software ,loading, formatting reload different computers different extractors, wont boot only the yellow bolt,(no bolt with original sd installed) im just an old guy with out a clue, can someone please walk me though the 3.7 install,i have 2 new 16gb sd cards and a windows 10 computer pretty new,7zip,etcher installed. thanks in advance

for instance how should i partition or not the sd card? should i wipe or format?, fat32 ?
7-zip should i double click file or extract or open inside*'#,open outside?
once installed when i put sd back in my computer should i let window repair the sd?

Do not use 3.7, it's ancient and if you have a RPi3B+ it's not supported as the software is too old to have firmware for it. Grab 3.X from the software releases section of the forum. For a handfull of games you won't need to adjust the partitioning or anything so just burn the image to the SD card and copy the few roms you want onto it. The partition formatting info is already in the image so it's all done at once, bit by bit.
NEVER let Windows repair your SD card. I've never had Windows do anything but destroy my data doing so, even with USB sticks... Just ignore Windows warning, you should have access to the first partition which is all you need for most things.
